Uncaged in the form of THELIONCITYBOY (TLCB) is a Singapore son. For as mysterious as he may be, he’s got both feet firmly planted in the future – and it looks like a bright one. A rapper, producer and music activist, the Singapore born rapper whose single “P.Y.C.O” became a fan favorite, after it affiliated with home town football hero Fandi Ahmad in the latter’s return to Singapore in 2013.

THELIONCITYBOY quickly received increasing press attention, including a nod from BMBX, a recording label owned by Apl.De.App from Grammy Award Winning group THE BLACK EYED PEAS – with the two partnering in 2015 to release “Light It For Me” that features up and coming L.A sensation Marc E Bassy – the song has streamed 55,000 times on Spotify since. 10K short of his recent single “All Night” that features Sony Music Artist Sezairi.

An Indian & Eurasian by ethnicity, he shares a Singaporean story in music on a global scale. Recently seen building super fans and a network of industry champions at MIDEM 2012 in France, A3C 2013, SXSW 2013, CMW 2014 in North America and Music Matters 2013 regionally – this is only the start.

“Forever I’ll be here like I’m winning every minute, Take away my stars but I’ll promise I will make it, Forever imma get it, Forever….” Lyrics from “Forever” off the Put Your City On EP.

Currently recording his latest project, TLCB promises to exceed expectations with a full album finally to share.

Your zodiac calendar is mistaken, 2016 is set to be the year of THELIONCITYBOY.
